Established in 2003, “Shang Chieh Metal Co., Ltd” (O-KING) is a major supplier of automated warehousing equipment in Taiwan. O-KING started as a metal processing plant and successfully occupied a key position in the metal processing market by leveraging its reputation of excellent quality and corporate philosophy that values integrity and trust. With a gradual shift in industry, housing market changes, O-KING found that like itself, many enterprises are also facing the problem of rising land use costs. How to effectively utilize space has become a pressing issue for all companies.

Through the review of its own factory, O-KING found that effective vertical integration of space utilization is the answer to the problem of warehousing. However, most equipment had to be imported at high cost, which are prohibitively expensive for many local companies to deploy. In light of the issues encountered by many industry peers, O-KING decided to import key equipment from Germany and Japan to conduct research, and dedicated itself to the manufacture of domestic automated warehousing equipment that small and medium-sized enterprises can afford to use. O-KING’s President firmly believes that “markets can only expand when the industry upgrades”. O-KING is not afraid of competing with others in the industry, and only by growing together can we advance the industry and use Taiwan as a brand to accumulate reputation and open up the international market. Through its own predicament, O-KING is able see the market demand and build the domestic brand of automated warehousing equipment to solve the difficult problem of space utilization for many enterprises.
